  • Your insurance coverage takes effect once premium payment is made at AMI or any of AYA bank branches.

Comprehensive Motor Insurance

What should I do when there is an accident?

Below actions to be taken during an accident

  1. Do not panic. Keep calm and immediately call AMI Claim Hotline: 09-49305224, provide information to our Claim Officers.
  2. Take photos of accident scene, damages of all involving vehicles/ properties before being removed.
  3. Report the accident to police and get police statement if two or more vehicles and/or if personal injury or death is involved in the accident.
  4. Do not admit fault, Do not offer or pay or accept cash for settlement (If you do so, AMI may discharge you from indemnity).
  5. Do not argue with other parties as AMI’s staff(s) will assist you.
  6. Follow instruction of AMI Claim Officers.

How do I purchase Comprehensive Motor Insurance?

You will need to complete the proposal form (downloadable) and submit it to AMI at info@ami-inusrance.com or call our customer service team at 09-977373000

What do I need to purchase/ apply for Comprehensive Motor Insurance?

When getting Comprehensive Motor Insurance, you’ll need to provide the following copy documents:

  1. Owner Book
  2. Wheel Tax
  3. Driving license
  4. Agreement letter

Collision insurance

How to purchase/ apply for Public Life Insurance?

You can make monthly/ quarterly/ half yearly/ yearly premium payments for Public Life Insurance depending on the amount insured and age of the insured.

Fire Insurance

What should I do when faced with an unfortunate incident causing damage to my insured property?

Actions to be taken:

  1. Do not panic. Keep calm and immediately call AMI Claim Hotline: 09-49305224, provide information to our Claim Officers
  2. Take photos of the incident and damages.
  3. Report the incident to Fire station and obtain official documents from the Fire Station
  4. Do not remove or move any items
  5. Follow instruction of AMI Claim Officers.

Can I buy additional cover?

An extensive gives additional cover for risks not stated in basic policy. Some additional covers are recommended on the type of construction situation and occupation.

  1. Riot fire, Riot strike damage including fire and malicious damage (0.06%)
  2. Aircraft damage (0.06%)
  3. Impact damage (0.10%)
  4. Subsidence and landslide (0.10%)
  5. Earth-quake fire, fire and shock damage caused by Earth-quake (0.10%)
  6. Explosion (0.10%)
  7. Spontaneous Inundation (0.08%)
  8. Storm, Typhoon, Hurricane, Tempest (0.20% – 0.25%)
  9. Flood and Inundation (0.10%)
  10. Burglary (0.25%)
  11. War Risk (0.10%)
