About Our Firm

A dedicated aviation insurance brokerage built by aviation professionals, for aviation professionals.

Who We Are — Aviation Management Insurance Services

Who We Are

Aviation Management Insurance Services, Inc. is a Delaware corporation duly licensed to broker property and casualty insurance in the State of California. We are an independent aviation insurance brokerage — meaning we represent you, not any single carrier.

Our firm was founded with a single purpose: to provide pilots, aircraft owners, flight schools, and aviation businesses with expert, transparent, and responsive insurance brokerage services. Aviation is not a side specialty for us — it is all we do.

We leverage relationships with leading admitted and non-admitted aviation insurance carriers to present our clients with competitive options tailored to their specific needs and operations.

Our Mission & Values

Everything we do is guided by three core commitments to our clients.

Expertise

Aviation insurance demands specialized knowledge. Our team understands FAA regulations, aircraft classifications, pilot certifications, and the nuances of aviation liability that general agents often miss.

Transparency

We explain your coverage clearly, including what is covered, what is excluded, and why we recommend specific policy structures. No surprises at claim time.

Advocacy

When you have a claim, we stand beside you — communicating with adjusters, ensuring proper valuation, and advocating for a fair and timely resolution.

Why an Aviation Specialist Matters

Aviation insurance is a highly specialized field governed by unique exposures, regulatory frameworks, and underwriting criteria. A broker who works primarily in personal lines or commercial property may lack the market access and technical understanding necessary to properly protect an aviation risk.

  • We understand pilot certificate categories and how they affect underwriting
  • We know the difference between admitted and surplus lines aviation markets
  • We speak the language of FAA regulations, FARs, and operations specifications
  • We understand aircraft valuations, agreed value vs. ACV hull coverage
  • We know how flight operations, hours, and training affect premium
  • We can review your existing policy and identify coverage gaps
