Payment Options

Aviation Management Insurance Services works with your carrier to offer several convenient payment methods.

Pay by Credit or Debit Card

Most carriers accept payment by major credit and debit cards online through their insured portals. Contact us for a direct link to your carrier's payment page.

Pay by Check (Mail)

Payments by check should be made payable to your insurance carrier as indicated on your invoice or declarations page, then mailed to the address shown on the bill.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT/ACH)

Many carriers offer EFT/ACH payment options for single payments or automatic recurring payments. Ask our office about setting up EFT for your policy.

Premium Financing

If you prefer to spread your annual premium over monthly installments, premium financing may be available. We can connect you with approved premium finance companies.

Carrier Payment Portals

Many carriers offer direct online payment portals for policyholders. Your invoice or declarations page will indicate which carrier issued your policy.

Premium Financing

For policyholders who prefer to manage cash flow, premium financing allows you to pay your annual insurance premium in monthly installments through a third-party finance company rather than paying the full premium upfront.

Note: Premium financing involves a separate agreement with a finance company. Finance charges apply. In the event of policy cancellation for non-payment, the finance company may cancel coverage and return unearned premium. Please review financing terms carefully.

Payment FAQ

Your payment due date is shown on your invoice and policy declarations page. Most aviation policies require payment at inception (policy effective date) or within a short grace period specified in the policy. Premium financing agreements will specify monthly payment dates.
Late or missed payments can result in cancellation of your insurance policy, leaving your aircraft and operations uninsured. Contact our office immediately if you are having difficulty making a payment — we can sometimes work with carriers on an extension or explore reinstatement options.
As a broker, we do not directly collect premium payments in most cases. Premium payments should be directed to your insurance carrier or premium finance company as indicated on your invoice. We can guide you to the correct payment address or portal for your specific policy.
To cancel your policy or request a refund of unearned premium, contact our office in writing. We will process the cancellation request with the carrier. Return premium, if any, is calculated based on the policy terms (short-rate or pro-rata cancellation) and will be refunded by the carrier. Note that some short-rate cancellation penalties may apply.
Contact our office immediately at (510) 875-3041. Do not fly your aircraft without confirmed insurance coverage in force. We can often assist with reinstatement or arrange replacement coverage before the cancellation date, depending on the circumstances.
